How we work, Coma Whites process
This guide outlines our basic operating practices and how we ensure that we achieve our clients goals and what steps we take to make sure the finished article is exactly what you need. The process sometimes varies depending on the site, but most projects stick to this step-by-step blueprint to ensure quality in the finished product.
Stage 1: Consultation
Our first step is to take a look at your sites overall goals and understand its requirements. Aside from telephone and email we can also conduct a one-on-one meeting for those in the Glasgow area. We firmly believe that your site should be well thought through to provide the best return on your time and investment in the product. This stage helps us gain an image of your requirements and goals.
Stage 2: Proposal
Following initial contact and consultation we'll provide you with a detailed set of proposals outlining the mutual understanding of your requirements, any recommended solutions, estimated timescales and overall costs.
Stage 3: The Blueprints
The next step is to produce a technical specification. This covers all elements of the project in detail, expanding upon the concept and setting out the plans for our team to follow.
Step 4: Development
This stage involves creating your product from the initial concept. One of our handlers will be assigned to manage the project to build your site, coordinating efforts with you and keeping you informed of our progress, updates and any specific requirements needed from you. Our handler will ensure all timescales and budgetary requirements are met with our utmost standards
Stage 5: Testing the Site
The testing stage ensures everything is working properly and any walk through/guide books you will need are completed to ensure the site and it's featured is functioning and user friendly for both visitors and yourself. You would also be given access to the test site for approval before the launch to make sure everything as you expected it.
Stage 6: Walk Through
Anything you need to know regarding the functioning of your site and any updates not handled by us will be clearly written down in a guide produced on disc and hard copy. This is to ensure that you understand the functions of the site and even if there's something you have trouble with, we'll always be on hand to help. This stage is typically done alongside the testing and implementation, but after those stages a full review on functionality is completed to make sure everything easy to use from all aspects.
Stage 7: The Launch
After all the hoopla and any bugs are ironed out in the testing, your site goes online.
Stage 8: Post-Production Evaluation
Once the site has been launched we can assess the project and address anything that may not have been cover in the first seven stages. Together the handler and the client can look at it's future and review its long term goals and work to make sure those goals are achieved.
